Sunday's Sermon. If you don't have a church home or are in transition, we would love to have you join us for this powerful look into our own personal faith.
Thanks to everyone that was able to bear through the fire alarms going off this morning at the church meeting.
MEN. Are you looking for a great way to teach your boys about God and growing up to be godly men? There will be an informational meeting Wed, Feb 6 at 6:30pm at Pastor Steve's house. We have been researching the Christian Service Brigade Ministry curriculum and are excited about all the lessons and activities it offers. We will go over the CSB Vision and Mission, lesson outlines, and discuss the future plans for this incredible ministry. I am designing this ministry around the plan that dads will take a proactive part in training the next generation of young men so I am looking for men/dads that want to also be involved at some level of working with our boys. (background checks will be required, of course) SINGLE MOMS - Do you have a son that you would like to see develop into strong godly men? Please join us at the meeting too. I would love to come alongside you and help "train your son up in the way he should go." Target age group of boys is 8-11 years old but if we have other men willing to work with boys in other age groups, we will gladly explore growing this ministry to reach as many boys as we can.
Today is moving day. We need all hands on deck to make this transition as smooth as possible. Please arrive at the church by 3:30.
ANNOUNCEMENT: We are excited to announce that St. Michael's School has agreed to allow us to move our church ministry to their building. The move will be effective Feb 1, 2019 and our service time will continue to be 9:15am. The new address is 6301 Campus Dr, Fredericksburg, VA 22407. We are excited about the way God will bless our church family with lots of great meals and memories at our new location.
Today is moving day at the church. We desperately need volunteers to come help pack and move things to storage and Goodwill.
Thanks to everyone that made packing and moving the church so successful today. It was hard work but we couldn't have pulled it off w/o all the help.
Any guesses on church tomorrow? Anyone? Anyone?
THIS SATURDAY, JAN 19, 9-2, is our 2nd packing and moving work day. Could use as many hands as possible. There may be a lunch thrown in for all workers too.
Looking forward to our delayed Christmas party this afternoon. Hope everyone can make it. There's going to be lots of fun and giveaways for everyone

Despite the heat yesterday, we had a great event! We could not have done it without all of our 46 volunteers who help set up and run the outreach. Stylists and barbers from Creative Edge Hair Designs Inc., KinGdom Cutz Downtown, and Hair Mosaics Salon Company donated their time to give 54 haircuts for kids returning to school. We were able to give away 100+ backpacks along with school supplies for the upcoming school year.
